About Me

gerald
Drupal Camp Cebu 2015

Hello, and welcome to my page! My name is Gerald Villorente, and I am a software engineer with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and web security.

In addition to my programming skills, I have extensive experience in technical support. As a technical support champion, I have helped countless customers troubleshoot their website issues and find effective solutions. This experience has given me a unique perspective on the importance of creating a scalable and secured web application that is easy to use and troubleshoot.

I specialize in using programming languages like Golang, Python, PHP, and Rust to build custom solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. I am also proficient in using Git, Docker, CI/CD, Github Pipelines, Drupal, and WordPress to streamline the development process and ensure that my code is of the highest quality.

I enjoy spending time with my furry friends when I'm not coding. I have Persian cats and dogs (Labrador x Aspin and Huskies), and they bring so much joy to my life. Taking breaks to play with my pets helps me stay focused and creative when working on complex programming challenges.

Also, I'm a father to my two adorable boys.
